INDIANAPOLIS- A home invasion came to an abrupt halt around 8:00 am on Friday, April 29th, when the homeowner shot one of two intruders in his home on the East Side.
Fox 59 reported that the owner had come home to discover two men inside his apartment that he did not know. He shot one of the alleged burglars; the other suspect fled the scene.
When police got the wounded home invader to the hospital, they discovered that he was a 14-year-old boy.
The Riley Hospital for Children has said that his injuries are non-life-threatening, according to WTHR-TV.
Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were looking for the other suspect, who they reported was a black man who may have injuries on his hands and face.
