The mainstream media has been covering the record murders that have taken place in 12 major cities across the United States.
What the “legacy” media conveniently left out of their coverage is that all of the cities have Democrat mayors and are under heavy liberal policies. The media certainly doesn’t seem to have an issue bringing up Republican-led states when they are on the attack, but if it paints Democrats in a bad light, they appear to those facts slide.
ABC said this in their article,
Experts say there are a number of reasons possibly connected to the jump in homicides, including strained law enforcement staffing, a pronounced decline in arrests and continuing hardships from the pandemic, but that there is no clear answer across the board.
Of course, we can’t forget about CNN, which is in absolute meltdown right now.
On top of CNN’s alleged pedophile producers, they are dealing with a massive ratings decline. They also covered the record murder story but left out anything about the cities being Democrat-controlled.
Here is part of what CNN said in their article,
When you see the numbers spike like this and we’re trying to figure out exactly why that’s happening, there’s no clear-cut answer. We haven’t found that one trend that we can really pin this on.”
Well, we have a pretty good idea what to pin this on!
Not to be left out, NPR also had an interview about the topic and posted the interview transcript for all to read. Any guesses on whether the word “Democrat” made it into the article?
There isn’t a single mention of these murders increasing rapidly in Democrat-led cities.
No, rather than blame bad Democrat policies, NPR has a contributor who blames….guns! Of course, they did.
Here is what Cheryl Corley said about the potential cause of the increase in homicide rates,
Well, you know, it’s just really complicated. Some folks say there are fewer cops on the street because of retirements and COVID, the court system pushed to the limit. And some folks just believe it’s just so many guns in the country – more than 23 million bought last year, another 18 million so far this year.”
Yes, there are a record number of firearms being purchased because even Democrats are starting to realize they aren’t safe in these big cities. Even some Democrats recognize that the police can’t be there to protect them.
The question is, will they connect the danger they are feeling in these cities to the destructive policies of the politicians they keep putting in office? Not likely, but we can hope!
