Joe Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal did not go well, to say the least.
Thirteen American servicemen/women were killed when a terrorist blew himself up at a security checkpoint. Over 100 Afghanis also lost their lives as thousands of people were trying to evacuate the country in hopes of finding a safe place away from the Taliban.
Gun owners in the United States are also saying that Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan is the death of gun control after Biden let machine guns, helicopters, and other military weapons fall into the hands of terrorists.
2nd Amendment Daily News talked to several gun owners who asked, “Did the terrorists pass a background check?” Additionally, the gun owners asked, “Did the terrorists register the weapons as Biden says that all weapons in the U.S. should be and why does Biden not seem to care about the types of weapons the Taliban just got?”
Gun owners are furious that common weapons owned in the United States such as the AR-15, AK-47, or even a Ruger .22 are considered “military-grade” weapons by gun control advocates. Yet, the U.S. government let machine guns, helicopters, and night vision goggles fall into the hands of our enemies. Gun control, the gun owners said, is officially dead after the Taliban obtained so many American weapons.
At a Press Briefing in August, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said the following about the weapons and other U.S. defense material falling into the hands of the Taliban:
Republican lawmakers were quick to go after the Biden Administration for the lost weapons.
One of those Republicans was Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas). Cruz had blasted Biden on Twitter several times over the Afghanistan withdrawal. Additionally, Cruz also sent out a Press Release on the lost weaponry.
Cruz said in part of the Press Release,
In addition to lawmakers going after Biden for letting the Taliban obtain the weapons, 2nd Amendment activists also blasted the Biden administration.
Aaron Dorr is on the Board of Directors for the American Firearms Association. He told 2nd Amendment Daily News,
It remains to be seen what, if anything, the U.S. government will do to destroy or capture the weapons obtained by the Taliban.
In the meantime, Democrats and some Republicans in Congress are continuing their efforts to restrict the right to keep and bear arms right here in the United States.
What do you think about the Biden administration letting the Taliban terrorists get a hold of U.S. military weapons? Let us know in the comments below!
Biden is a traitor aiding terrorists. He needs to be impeached and sentenced as a traitor.
I have few rights left–I don’t get to keep the money I owe; my money is double, triple and quadruple taxed; I can’t state my race or voice an opinion different than the left. You will NOT TAKE MY GUNS–I will fight to the death.
It is a proven fact that there are more lives saved, more rapes stopped, more kidnappings brought to a halt on a daily basis than killings by the criminal sect, but it is the criminal that makes the headlines and the legal gun owner gets crucified. That makes no sense, does it?
That piece of shit biden needs removed from office, along with his whole party, he should be held accountable for all the fucking up he has done !!!
“Is gun control dead?!” What the heck kind of a question is that? My head is swirling with reactions. Here are a few:
Do you really think gun control zealots are going to say, “You’re right, we’ve been awful hypocrites. We apologize and won’t do it again. Sorry for trying to violate your rights. You can rest assured we won’t bother you or the 2nd Amendment ever again?” Uh, no. They’re like relentless zombies. They’re dead, sure, but they don’t have the good grace to just lay down and be still. Instead they slowly and with endless determination continue to try to steal your brain. And their hypocrisy doesn’t bother them in the least.
And if the idea of gun control was going to die, it would have died the moment the Bill of Rights was ratified, for clearly that document prohibits any kind of gun control.
No, unfortunately, it’s not that easy. Was the Taliban debacle hypocrisy? You bet it was! But does it end gun control. Not in the slightest. Only constant vigilance on our parts will even begin to weaken it. Keep up the good work, and don’t relax for a minute.
Joe Biden’s State Department just returned from a trip to Europe where they informed the international community that Biden is committed to resuming Barack Obama’s push to subject proud American gun owners to the United Nations Small Arms Treaty!
President Trump removed America from this international treaty, putting Americans and our Second Amendment freedoms outside the whims of foreign powers like Communist China.
But ‘China Joe,’ assumed by many to be under the thumb of the Chinese government because of his business dealings there and the dirt they have on his son Hunter, is reversing Trump’s policy.
One of the main tenants of the UN Small Arms Treaty is the creation of a GLOBAL GUN REGISTY, which would require the American government to disclose the ‘end user’ of each and every rifle, pistol and shotgun in circulation to the United Nations.
Dictator binden is starting a second civil war. Unfortunately that’s the only thing now that will get rid of the socialist trash.
Democrats are monsters. They value the military expansion ofvthe Stalinism more than the defense of liberty at home. The Democrats actually have more in common with the Taliban than most realize which is why they armed them and left them pallets of cash for them to use. The Taliban went door to door confiscating personally owned weapons and, if we let them, the Democrats will do the same thing. Tyranny is on the march around the world. American Patriots need to rain on that parade.
It is such Bulls**t to say Biden gave the Taliban weapons. The US weapons in Afghanistan were given to the Afghanistan government starting in about 2003 up through the US pullout in August 2021 by Presidents Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden. The Afghan army folded like a tent with most weapons being given to the Taliban. Heck Trump was going to do the same thing, but in May, if he had been re-elected.
