The liberals have had a bad few days since Kyle Rittenhouse was found “not guilty” by a jury of his peers on five different criminal counts.
Once Rittenhouse was pronounced not guilty, we all knew the liberals would cry “racism” and “white privilege” about the verdict. Never mind that Rittenhouse was white and only shot white people; it had to be racism!
2nd Amendment Daily News wanted to show you some of the reactions by the liberal elites who just couldn’t stomach a young man defending his life with clear and convincing evidence.
Perhaps the biggest leftwinger to chime in on the verdict was none other than MSNBC’s Joy Reid. Reid had lashed out previously on the Rittenhouse trial and talking about “white tears” being used by Rittenhouse while he was on the stand.
Here is what Reid said on her Twitter account after the verdict:

TBS’s leftwing nutcase host Samantha Bee also got in on the action of attacking the Rittenhouse verdict.
Bee posted,
Acquitting Kyle Rittenhouse sends a message to future Kyle Rittenhouses that they’re free to incite violence and then claim self-defense. This is not justice.”
Shannon Watts, the “Founder” of Moms Demand Action, was not to be left out. She also made the issue about race and ensured her followers they would continue to destroy the 2nd Amendment.
Here is what Watts posted in two different tweets,
Today we must remember why this trial happened in the first place: Jacob Blake was shot in the back by police in front of his children, and today’s verdict shows the inequity of our criminal justice system, where Black and brown people are treated differently than white people.”
.@momsdemand and @studentsdemand will continue to work to roll back open carry and Stand Your Ground laws; to stop permitless carry; and to keep guns out of buildings of democracy and at protests, and to enforce the law against the use of guns to intimidate and suppress rights.”
And what would a reaction to an obvious self-defense verdict be without incompetent elected officials throwing in their two cents?
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted the following statement on Twitter also blaming “race” as the bane of the American justice system:
What we are witnessing is a system functioning as designed and protecting those it was designed for.
My heart still breaks for the communities and families whose grief now compounds, and the countless others who will be denied and deprived in similar scenes across the country.”
So, someone who fired a weapon in self-defense is a problem? Someone else who acts in self-defense and is rightfully acquitted is what AOC is concerned about?
What are the odds that AOC didn’t watch one minute of the trial? What are the odds that AOC is simply reacting to the verdict? We believe those odds are really high.
But the dumbest and most dangerous comment from an elected official comes from Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) who said the DOJ should investigate the Rittenhouse verdict.
Nadler posted the following comment on Twitter:
This heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by DOJ. Justice cannot tolerate armed persons crossing state lines looking for trouble while people engage in First Amendment-protected protest.”
Is Nadler a reporter for CNN or what?
The RIOTERS in Kenosha weren’t exercising their 1st Amendment rights. They were burning the city to the ground and damaging and looting businesses.
Additionally, Rittenhouse did NOT cross state lines with a firearm, and Nadler would know that if he paid any attention to the trial.
But the most concerning part of Nadler’s tweet is his desire for the DOJ to investigate what was the most obvious verdict. Because it wasn’t just Rittenhouse on trial, self-defense itself was on trial.
If Rittenhouse was “guilty” then no one in America would feel comfortable in defending themselves.
