Iowa Republican Senator Joni Ernst has cut a backroom deal with Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) and Sen. Dick Durbin to stab gun owners in the back in the worst way possible.
Ernst sent out a Press Release detailing her support for the Violence Against Women Act. Part of the proposal is to include Red Flag Gun Seizure orders.
For many years, the VAWA was supported on both sides of the political aisle. However, in recent years Democrats have kept trying to shove Red Flag Gun Seizure Orders into the law so they can begin gun confiscation on a much larger scale.
Thankfully, gun owners continue to expose what is happening to the VAWA law and are fighting back against the Red Flag portion of the proposal as well as any other gun control measure trying to be snuck in.
Time and time again, we have written these articles warning gun owners that Republicans can’t be trusted to hold the line on the 2nd Amendment. While there are some great Republicans pushing back against this nonsense, there are some of them that seem to enjoy knifing you in the back.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) are just two of the other so-called Republicans who have expressed support for Red Flag Gun Seizures as well.
On top of that, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has recently shown he is willing to dump the filibuster to sell out our country. When gun owners need the filibuster to stop Feinstein and company on gun control, is McConnel going to cave again?
Aaron Dorr, Executive Director of Iowa Firearms Coalition, blasted Ernst on social media about joining with radical gun grabber Feinstein and Durbin. Iowa Gun Owners posted the following message to their followers with the video:

Gun owners should not just call the Republican Senators who have betrayed them once again, but every gun owners should call their Senator(s) and tell them NOT to support VAWA if it contains gun control.
This is not an issue we can leave to chance. With Biden pushing for some form of gun control, and weak-kneed Republicans bending the knee to kiss his ring, it’s time to make sure that every elected official up for re-election in 2022 knows that gun owners will turn out to vote on this issue and this issue alone if we have to.
