Gun control groups appear to have successfully submitted enough signatures to put Red Flag Gun Confiscation Orders on the November ballot.
Last year, gun control advocates tried to get a Red Flag law passed but failed to get it to the governor’s desk. The gun control groups, such as Moms Demand Action, decided to pursue using the ballot initiative process to have voters approve gun confiscation instead.
The ballot initiative process has been a very popular tool for gun grabbers. Usually, the process is used in red states, where there is no chance of getting it through legislatively.
Maine, being unable to get Red Flag Gun Confiscation through the legislature, is somewhat surprising because the state is controlled completely by Democrats.
22 states currently have Red Flag Gun Confiscation laws in place.
