Alabama Republicans are the latest red state to pass a ban on so-called “Glock switches.”
While federal law already bans the devices that gun grabbers say make Glocks automatic weapons, some states are doing their own state laws prohibiting the devices.
Alabama became the 26th state to outlaw the devices. The Senate vote was 28-0, with six lawmakers absent. The Alabama House passed the bill 77 to 23.
Other “red” states with a trifecta Republican control to ban the devices are: Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa.
That makes eight red states that have implemented their own bans.
These are the same Republicans who have told us to trust them to protect the Second Amendment. Did they forget the part of the 2A that says “shall not be infringed?”
Hopefully, gun owners in other red states will fight back and not cave to the gun-grabbing crowd.
