Senate Bill 401 is expected to be put to a floor vote sometime this week. Hawaii already has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country.

Hawaii Governor Josh Green said he will sign the ban into law.

Ten states already have full bans on regular firearms, and several others are trying to do the same this year. Two of those states are Colorado and Hawaii.

Several court cases are making their way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which may be the last hope for gun owners in blue states to have their rights restored from the infringements forced on them by Democrat legislatures.
